Rob Marsh, owner and General Manager of both Wye River Marine and our export arm US Boat Wholesalers, brings over 35 years of experience to the business. Rob started in the early seventies helping his Dad paint boat bottoms and clean boats in the family boatyard, Marsh Marine of Red Bank NJ. After completing the Commercial Fisheries and Marine Engineering program at the University of Rhode Island Rob began a career as a commercial fisherman working in both the offshore trawler industry as well as the inshore Menhaden purse seiner fleets. After 6 years of fishing Rob decided that commercial fishing was not for him and moved on to work for Buddy Davis of Wanchese, North Carolina building custom sport fishermen.

In 1990 Rob opened his first boat sales business, Warehouse Creek Yacht Sales, in a small boatyard off the South River in Edgewater, Maryland. Warehouse Creek eventually grew to be one of the largest boat dealerships in the Mid-Atlantic as well as a top Dealer for Cruisers Yachts, Monterey, Glastron, Maxum and Aquasport. Warehouse Creek developed a reputation as being the “go to” boat sales organization for those who wanted to move their boats quickly without the hassles of traditional brokerage firms. Warehouse Creek was especially affective in the sale of boats outside of the local market, selling boats throughout the US and the world. In 2006, after being virtually wiped out by hurricane Isabel, Rob sold the business to his largest competitor Clarks Landing Yacht Sales.  

After a short retirement Rob recognized the wholesale opportunities presented by the recession coupled with the potential growth in international sales.  In 2007 Rob decided to open up Wye River Marine and US Boat Wholesalers to take advantage of these dynamic changes in the boating industry.

Rob lives with his wife Fran and 2 sons in Centreville Maryland. When he isn’t running the business he can usually be found pursuing his hobbies of sailing, fishing and iceboating.

AJ Bowden

AJ Bowden grew up in lower Delaware on his family farm where he learned at a young age the value of hard work. Enjoying the outdoors with his close knit family, he quickly grew a passion for boating and fishing. His love of boating encouraged him at age16, to pursue a career with Boaters World, where after only two years he was promoted to Store Manager. Boaters World quickly recognized his achievements and promoted him to manage one of the highest volume stores in their chain in Solomon’s Island, MD. 

After gaining valuable management skills, AJ moved back to Delaware to manage Mid Shore Boat Sales which he helped develop into a top ten dealer for both Sailfish and G3 boats. Deciding to move back to Maryland, AJ along with three other industry professionals, opened Jaws Marine, a full service dealership selling both Pro-Line and Donzi Boats.  In 2009, AJ and his partners sold the business to pursue other career options.  

AJ joined Wye River Marine in 2010 and is currently responsible for all trailer boat sales as well as our packing and freight division.

AJ and his wife Jenn recently moved to a new home on Kent Island.

Todd Wittman

Todd Wittman has been selling boats and marine equipment on the Chesapeake Bay for most of his adult life. Growing up on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, his first job was in the marine industry at age 14 working at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum.  Too young to drive; he commuted to work by boat and his life’s passion was born.

Prior to his current career of selling boats, Todd was the Mid Atlantic representative for the Outboard Marine Corporation (OMC). There he was responsible for handling the accounts of 200 dealers and posted sales in excess of $25 million. 

Todd entered the boat sales business as a member of the Warehouse Creek Yacht Sales group managing the highly successful Chester, Maryland store. Over the years Todd has sold many of the leading new yacht brands including Cruisers Yachts, Carver, Marquis, Silverton, Sunseeker, Tiara, and Luhrs, as well as many used and brokerage yachts. 

Todd is a recent addition to the Wye River Marine team and is responsible for yacht sales and marketing.

He currently resides in historic Easton, MD with his lovely wife Peg and beautiful twin daughters. They love and promote the boating lifestyle; cruising, fishing, and relaxing on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay.

Pat started his career in the marine industry working in many capacities with Boater's World Marine Center, a major US marine parts retailer for over 8 years.  Pat joined USBW in 2008 and is a key part of our team managing the hard work of our in house marketing department.  Pat is currently responsible for all web design as well as the maintenance of over 10 separate US and international websites.  Pat is also responsible for the design and implementation of our successful eBay and Craig’s list marketing programs.  Like everyone else at USBW Pat wears many hats including the management of our US, AU & CE trailer sales division.  In addition to working full time at Wye River Marine, Pat is continuing his secondary education working to complete a BS degree in Web Design and marketing.

Pat has lived on Maryland's Eastern Shore his entire life, spending as much time on the water as possible with his favorite hobbies of water skiing, and fishing.

Eve our Office Manager began her career in the marine industry when she joined Rob Marsh and the team at Warehouse Creek Yacht Sales in 1994.    She managed the daily functions of the office, as well as handling both finance and insurance after obtaining her MD Property and Casualty Insurance License in 1994.  She remained at Warehouse Creek for 12 years leaving just prior to the sale of WCYS.   If you ask her today about what she like most of her time at WCYS she will surely tell you it was the annual Customer events as well as the family at Warehouse Creek.  

After leaving WCYS she joined the team at International Marine Insurance as a Client Service Representative learning more about the sailing community traveling the world.

On Valentine’s Day of this year she rejoined Rob Marsh at Wye River Marine resuming her duties of Office Management for a once again growing marine company. 

Evelyn resides in Queen Anne’s farming country with her husband Rick, their daughter and beautiful Grandchild Adeline.  You will usually find Evelyn on her off time playing with Adeline, shopping, quilting or watching NASCAR.
